About The Simcoe Christian Soccer League
The Simcoe Christian Soccer League was formed as a uniquely Christian league. It aims to field a high caliber of play as well as exhibit a strong Christian witness including fair play, healthy competition, and sportsmanship. Indeed our soccer play should be glorifying to God as is our work, worship, or recreation. As such, the League holds its players and members responsible for maintaining a level of conduct consistent with the League's Code of Conduct.
Code of Conduct
We are a group of Bible-believing individuals who have come together for the purpose of forming a recreational soccer league. Our aim is to play soccer in a manner that is God glorifying.
As such, we commit to:
- Play to the highest skill level possible, and encourage the same from others,
- Respect all the rules of the game, and to place fair play before victory,
- Make appropriate decisions on the field regarding our play, so as to reduce the incidence of accidental injuries,
- Use our language to build others up and to express ourselves in a wholesome manner,
- Respect all officials and referees and their decisions,
- Respect our fellow athletes and teammates,
- Respect the authority of the Board and their decisions.
